Lior Textile Industries LTD is Israel’s’ longest-standing designer and manufacturer of tactical and protective vests. (Since 1976)
Lior Textiles first opened its doors as a small family sewing and textile workshop in the city of Acre.
Its founder, Nissim Bookris had his mind on more than business. His goal was to help protect the soldiers who put their life on the line to defend the land and people of Israel.
Lior Textile workshop began producing protective vests for the IDF and contribute to its effort to bring soldiers back home from the battlefield safe & whole.
Over the years, the company’s quality products became relied upon by the Israel Defense Forces and police as well as other special clients around the globe. The company continued to grow eventually becoming one of the market leaders in Israel for manufacturing & supplying of survival enhancement protective textile solutions.
Today
Today Lior is still run by the Bookris family including its 3rd generation.
with over 40 years of experience combined with a management, who themselves are veterans of the IDF, Lior has the ability to develop and manufacture tailor made products according to real battlefield requirements, soldier’s needs and also to supply these solutions and products to clients among friendly nations facing todays multi threat terror organizations throughout the globe.
Lior’s ability to supply top quality products also stems from its use of the most advanced machinery, quality fabrics, and detailed controlled production processes (ISO 9001:2015) The factory is a producer supplier of “Level A” of the Israeli MOD which is the highest Israeli quality standard. It relies on “real-time” field-testing derived from extended cooperation with the IDF and Israeli police. The Lior facilities’ location in the Northern border of Israel, also provides a unique advantage to perform internal field tests for its products further promoting higher levels of functional & ergonomic performance.
